Work Permit and Stay back

  • Canada offers various Co-ops and internship programs that provide an opportunity to students to gain a firsthand industrial experience.
  • A study permit holder pursuing an academic, vocational or professional training of six months or more can work part-time for 20 hours per week and 40 hours per week during vacations.
  • All international students who have graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution are eligible for a Post Study Work Visa to gain valuable Canadian work experience under certain conditions.
  • If the program duration is 2 years or more - Post Study Work Visa will be issued for 3 years, and on gaining work experience of one year the students can apply for PR.
